5 Stars Beautiful picture
This TV is just what you’d want in a sleek design. The picture is very crisp, great sound, and it hooks up easily with lots of inputs. It works for all viewing and gaming needs. It was really easy to set up right out of the box, and when I turned it on it immediately ran auto set-up, saving a lot of time and hassle.
5 Stars First HDTV
I bought this TV a few days ago and I love it! I wanted to get a HDTV instead of having to run my DVD recorder to get over-the-air digital TV with my previous TV. I am very impressed with the HD output and am looking forward to watching my Monday night shows on Fox.
5 Stars Great TV
I got this TV today, and within 1 hour it was set up to play, and hooked to my computer. The picture is beautiful. The inputs are numerous. The setup was easy. I hooked the tv to the computer with a uxga monitor cable that has the 3.5mm stereo cable. Sweet. It has really simplified my connection situation. No one has even mentioned that it has PIP in the PC mode.
The only downside is that between the time I ordered it April 29th and the time it was delivered May 4th the price dropped from $599. to $549.
1 Star This TV is complete junk!
This is the second piece of Sony equipment that we have purchased that has broken withing six months. The picture tube on the TV went after only owning this for five months. This thing is complete junk and now Target will not stand behind it. Sony is being a pain in the a$$ about fixing it even though it is supposed to be under warranty. Sony sucks and I will never buy one of their products again!
5 Stars Great TV for the money
This is my first HDTV. I bought it because my brother-in-law has the previous model, which is pretty much the same. He loves it for the bedroom.
Cable broadcasts in 720p/1080i. So unless you have a larger screen, Blu-Ray DVD or are a serious gamer, go with the 720P and save yourself some bread.
I’m very happy with the sound and picture. I do not have this hooked up to a home theater. There are plenty of inputs, so it should work well for your system. I tried my JVC HD camcorder and it was simple to connect and view.
