GREAT TV EASY TO NAVIGATE THE SYSTEM. I THOUGHT I WOULD RECEIVE HD PICTURE QUALITY! FOUND OUT I STILL NEED TO HAVE A CONVERTER FOR THIS. MY SON HAS THE SAME TV AND HIS PICTURE IS FANTASTIC. THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE AN ANALOG PERSON IN A DIGITAL WORLD. GUESS I’LL SWITCH TO SATALITE BECAUSE CABLE WON’T SUPPLY ME ONE AFTER 20 PLUS YEARS WITH THEM. I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TV TO FRIENDS.

I purchased this TV thinking since it was the top of the line there would be no problem. I purchased it April 6,09, it arrived April 15. May 5th we were watching TV with friends. The TV went blank. We went through all the troublshootings suggested and nothing worked. So now the TV we had less than a month is at the shop getting fixed. It’s under warranty but that’s not the point! If I had to do it over again I would not purchase this TV. My neighbor has the same TV and it continues to cut off, and the warranty is over.

5 Stars Amazing Picture!!!
I shopped this TV for over a month waiting for a price drop. Bought it from Amazon finally because they were the cheapest. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the picture. The shipping experience was also top notch with great communication and follow through. Kudos to Amazon for really stepping up and becoming competitive in this market! You will not be disappointed in this TV or the shipping from Amazon!

I have had this tv for over 6 months now and couldnt be happier!!! This tv is the cream of the crop!!! I reviewed many different tv’s online. I did like a year’s worth of research before buying this tv and everyone said this was the best! I usually dont believe what the manufacturer says so I rely on the “honest” peoples reviews say. I’d say almost 95% of the people said this was a great tv and they were right. I also use cnet to get a good idea of what I am buying bc they are an independent organization that does reviews and are usually right on with their reviews.

The only bad thing about this tv I would say is that non HD tv shows look like crap to me. I have a Tivo HD and HD DVR from my cable company. When watching in HD the picture is perfect but when watching non HD it is very grainy. Thats only bc my expensive crap cable company (Comcast) doesnt have all the HD channels yet. But I can deal with it bc this tv as many options to make the picture look semi decent.

The delivery service was top notch! They called me a day before it was to be delivered which I thought was great! They came within the time specified. The 2 men brought it in took it out of the box for me and plugged it in to make sure it works.

The setup was very easy. I did it myself. I bought all the wires before hand so I could hook up all my components at once.

I also bought PS3 the day it came. I bought it mainly for the bluray player bc many people including cnet says its the best player on the market. And thay are not wrong. The piture in 1080p is flawless!! I love my PS3 and this tv!!!

All in all I would have to say this is the best TV and I am extremely happy with it and couldnt have asked for a better tv!!

5 Stars Stunning quality image for a surprisingly good price
Like most other reviewers, we shopped carefully before settling on the Samsung LN52A650… we compared it to others in several brick-and-mortar retailers, and read lots of reviews, including one from a national consumer magazine which rated the 650 higher than its newer siblings. In the end, we opted for the 650 as the best compromise of picture quality and price. We have not been disappointed in any way (we now have two 52″ Samsungs, and one 46″ A650 as well). The picture quality is flawless with our DirecTV satellite feed (running at 1080i), the set-up and software are excellent, and I am looking forward to connecting it to our home network to take advantage of its connectivity features, and to a BlueRay DVD player as well. Stepping up from a 14-year old Sony XBR 53″ rear-projection TV, the improvement in image quality is nothing short of stunning.

For what it’s worth, the “Touch of Color” red bezel is very subtle in our installation, barely noticeable at all and certainly not as eye-grabbing as I feared.

Other reviewers have noted that Amazon’s “White Glove” delivery service is everything promised, and we would have to agree… our TVs were delivered very quickly and with no fuss to our new home (which was still under construction when the units arrived). I would not hesitate to purchase large/bulky big-ticket items from Amazon based on this experience.
