2 Stars So-so romance, OK mystery
This was a freebie download, and I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. The characters start out believable, but go downhill as their spirituality “deepens,” making them less and less real.

Although I did enjoy this book, I couldn’t wait for the book to end.
Too often, I found the book jumping from one character’s thoughts to another with bits of information thrown out to the reader without any reason for it to be brought up at that specific moment. Thoughs and feelings were stated, rather than creating visuals with words and letting me piece together the moment. I like to be involved in the thought process as I read, and this book made me feel like it didn’t want to include me.

I found this book to be an easy, enjoyable read with likable main characters set in the lovely Amish country. This book is part romance, part mystery. To be honest, I tried this book because it was free and ended up enjoying it!

I really enjoyed this book, kept me guessing at times and was an enjoyable story with a good mystery element. Marta’s writing style is easy to read, and her character development was good.

This was a great little mystery, romance book. I enjoyed all the characters and it was a easy read. I would read more by this author.
