5 Stars Sony TV Works well
The sony TV works well. The instruction manual is not clear on how to get to the XBM system which controls the settings. However, once you figure that out, the TV settings are easy to follow. I would recommend the TV to my friends.
5 Stars Incredible Picture
I was upgrading from a 50 inch projection system that had bit the dust. I did a lot research and looked at a lot of HDTVs in the show rooms. The Sony Bravia picture just blew to competition away. This was the best compromise I could find in features (240 hz refresh) and price. Hopefully it will carry me for 8-10 years when 2 more generations of technology are on the market. (Go OLED!) While the unit arrived in good shape and has performed superbly, the shipping was a day later than anticipated. I tracked it all the way. Even though it was on commercial freight, it stayed too long at several stops. Once it hit Orlando it still took 48 hours to get it delivered.
5 Stars Doable by old timers
Have slowly added the various features of this system to our daily use. One (particularly an Old One!) can easily get overwhelmed connecting all the wiring systems. One feature desired for the connection instructions would be to define what are alternate wiring schemes, rather than just showing them all. Dublicate wiring connections can confuse the system. Programming the various options is fairly straight forward once you get the hang of it. Learning the wand button locations and funtions, and setting up the TV the way we want to took some time and retries. Here is where taking care of one option at a time seemed to work better, given a 15 year old granddaughter wasn’t always available. Major complaint is that now that college basketball is over and we’re a few months from the football season there is nothing to watch, so will need to learn operation all over again come September.

2 Stars Just take the plunge
OK, so if your reading this, you’ve been doing your research. If it’s offered at somethng you can afford, just order it and be done. It’s a great TV, it’s everything your looking for. I would highly reccomend it, just be prepared to get the HD TV that’s offered from your cable provider, and some type of stand. You don’t need the extra cables, or the receiver, or the speakers…Not unless you really feel you need all that. I ordered it from Amazon and they even carried it in, and set it up!

Great product. They quality of the mount really impressed me. Very sturdy. With a stud finder this mount is easy to install. Don’t pay 2 or 3 times the price for a wall mount at the store!
2 Stars It is not the one that I thought to be
The Mount that I received was not the one that is shown here. If this one is not in the stock then need to be removed from the list.
The one that got is somewhat similar. It was difficult for me to attach to the wall and the tilt adjust knob was broken before I actually hang the TV. Not recommend for big screen TV.

After researching the cost of a tilt mount at local big box stores, most were in the $175-$250 level for my 52″ LCD TV. I found this mount on line for under $50. It was delivered in 3 days, and is easy to mount with up to a 15 degree tilt. Perfect for my needs. It can handle from 40″ up to a 70″ set, and can handle curved or flat backs. It has a variety of screws, bolts, anchors and even an allen wrench for mounting. The only things not included are a stud finder and wrench for the mounting bolts!! Great value!
4 Stars Truely a 200$ Mount
This mount would definatly be sold for 200$ at any big box store. It is sturdy and solid with plenty of bolts, washers, spacers, etc. Easy to instal, total confidence in placing big 50″ plasma. One of the main reasons that I chose this one was all the mounting holes on the base plate. This ensured that I could mount the tv in the middle of the wall even if the studs were not on center.

It Holds A 200 Plus Lb Tv NO Problem. You Just Need 3 men To Hang The TV. Make Sure It Is Mounted Into Solid Wood Or The Tv WILL Fall Of The wall. I had Bought The Bracket Months before i Got The Tv. I Only Spent 50.00 On The Bracket When it was On Sale. I have Not Seen That price Since i Bought This One. Excellent Bracket. I have A 63 Inch Samsung Hanging On The wall At A 20 Degree Angle. Bracket works Perfect. Remember To mount it Properly. A 200 Lb Tv Falls Very hard On A Tile Floor. I Dont Think The Warranty will Cover That Problem. Be Carefull Not To Get A Hernia Mounting A Set That Heavy!!!!!

This Cheetah model is a professional unit using heavier gauge 2.5mm steel and weighing a total of 17lbs. The large dual chrome crossbars provide a much more stable attachment point for the display arms than “hook and lip” systems and at the same time allow for smoother side-to-side adjustment. Dual tilt adjustment knobs on each side of the wall plate control the angle of tilt. The universal design will fit any 32-60″ display with a hole pattern up to 26.5″ wide by 16″ tall and weighing up to 180lbs. A bubble level snaps on to the top horizontal crossbar to assist in obtaining a level installation. Each of the display arm attachment pieces includes a lock bar to prevent accidental liftoff. The unit provides 15 degrees of forward and back tilt in a profile which is 3.4″ from the wall in the flat position. The paint is extra thick textured powder coat. Installation instructions and mounting hardware are included.

4 Stars Value for money good mount
This mount is heavy , lot of steel !! very sturdy , when installed It project about 6″ from wall For 39 $ it is a good deal . The lock after hanging the tv is not that great it could have been better . TV can be slided side to side but it does not allow tiltimg side by side . There is some room for up down tilting . Recommend this product to any one who looks for strong mount, needed some flexibility for horizontal positioning . Comes with many mounting screws . Make sure you install this to studs .
2 Stars Not for bigger Tv’s
I used this wall mount to place my 47″ Samsung over the fireplace and due to the the size/placing of the studs, there wasn’t enough space to center the Samsung correctly. So I purchased a wider wall mount from monoprice and got better results. I then tried to wall mount my 40″ Samsung in the game room with the cheetah mount, but the mounting wholes were only 17 inches wide while the wall studs where 22 inches apart. To put it simply, always go for the widest possible mount to help with stud and centering issues. This one is much too small.
5 Stars Worked well, installed easy
Came as promised. Built in level which is nice. Mounted quickly and securely. My only disappointment is that is it sold by Cheetah Mounts which has a good name for itself but the mount does not have anything on it to identify it as from them. Looks like anyone else’s mount (it’s made in china so it probably is). Amazon’s price was cheaper than anywhere else I found. Their tech support answered quickly and was very friendly. All hardware included. Very nice mount, it’s holding my new SONY 46″ Bravia XBR.
