5 Stars Amazing Picture, Amazing Purchase
My boyfriend chose this TV and had it shipped to my new apartemnt. It shipped on time, and was delivered in EXCELLENT condition- no dents or scratches on the box, which was very comforting.
the picture is incredible, I am not one to usually invest in HD, Blue-Ray and all of that, but the difference i have seen on this TV makes it worth every penny. I have no problem with glare- even though the TV room is filled with windows. The sound is great as well. I had no problems hooking it up, it was very simple, and not too heavy either.
Overall, i am more than happy with this purchase. It will be a TV that is with us for a long time.
5 Stars LN32B460
I’ve had this TV for about month or so now and I am very pleased with it. The picture looks fantastic and has no issues with viewing angles. The sound is fine; obviously if you want great sound you should expect to have a separate system for that. I have a PS3 connected to it and the games look awesome… I can’t wait to try a Blu-Ray movie. All said and done I am very happy with this Samsung.
5 Stars Just right for the bedroom
This TV was priced just right and has all the right features for me to use in my bedroom. I love the touch of color and the stylish look. The picture is outstanding with a very nice deep contrast. I did my research before purchasing this TV and you should too. It really paid off for me
4 Stars Old Lady’s Delight
This purchase was based on 1)the need to meet the June 12th ‘update’ deadline (my previous set had 20 years on it); and 2) the reviews offered by previous purchasers. I live alone, am (kindly phrased) ‘elderly’, and totally lacking in any kind of ‘mechanical aptitude’. As a result, the box ‘sat’ unopened until 12:30 p.m. on the 12th – and I had no alternative. The set is very ‘lightweight’ as far as handling; I was able to follow the simple instructions on assembling the base and ‘installing’ the set — and just followed the written instructions/visual diagrams on connecting the antenna, the DVD and doing the ‘new’ channel scan. At this point, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase (but – plan to ‘review’ recent VHU/UHF indoor antenna purchases for better ‘signal’ retrieval in my ‘deep woods’ residence). I don’t do ladders for roof installation anymore!
5 Stars Samsung 32 inch LCD TV Model LN32B460
We’ve only had the TV for a few weeks but so far it has performed beautifully. Excellent picture and good sound. We particularly like the feature that allows the screen to be filled regardless of the aspect ratio of the original signal or show. We also give high marks to the audio and vidio setting choices available. Regardless of the room lighting, from dark to sun lit, it is simple to adjust the picture for perfect viewing. Setup was also very simple. We connected set to satelite input, plugged it in and turned it on and everything else was setup automatically.

5 Stars Excellent product, excellent service.
Product arrived in two days, and is an excellent product at a price hundreds of dollars less than at retail stores in the Atlanta area.
4 Stars so far so good
Received the Sony Bravia tv that I ordered on time and in good condition. Driver was very courteous and plugged in tv to make sure it was working but despite what Amazon said he would do, he did not put it on the stand or hook anything up. I did all the labor but it was not really any problem at all. Directions were very easy to follow and understand to set tv up but be sure you read them all the way through before you start or you may have to reset again from beginning. Picture was absolutley beautiful in hi def.and the sound really dynamic…lots of choices to tweek the picture and sound but not really neccessary right now. Did’nt even have to upgrade to a cable box but just went right into tv and picked up even more stations than I was getting before, including digital and many in hi def. Some really cool features include the tv guide selection on the remote control, but it took about 2 weeks for it to finally load up and work properly instead of the 24-48 hrs Sony said but my guess is that it was a cable issue. All is working well and I hope will continue for a long time but I’ve only had it for a month and electronics can be tricky. Not sure if I will get the extended warranty but I probably will in time. I researched a long time to find the right lcd flat screen for me and I think I picked a winner. Works great with the vcr/dvd player I already had. It’s my first flat screen and my first purchase from Amazon. Saved big bucks over brick and mortor stores. I would do it again , but only from Amazon with I think a little better service.
5 Stars My 1st 1080p HDTV
This Sony Bravia 1080p 120Hz W-Series 40 inch is the best gift I’ve purchased for myself in years. Though technology is continuously advancing I purchased at a time when this item was at it’s lowest just above $1,000. Because just about everyone else purchased their huge LCD HDTV’s too early my “little” 40 inch is MORE advanced than theirs. This set has an AUTO adjust – meaning I was watching a regular DVD and the set auto adjusted to full screen. It also auto adjusted the cable HD channels to full screen the first time and it just stays full screen. The Cable HD channels are wonderfully clear and crisp however the 120Hz does not kick in. I think it’s because the networks are not that advanced enough just yet. So it’s just the 1080p HD that’s at work. BUT when watching a Blu Ray DVD or playing the PS3 games THAT’s when I can CLEARLY see the 120Hz working. I purchased special 120Hz HDMI 12 foot cables 10.3GBPS (from Amazon only $14 or $15) to ensure the picture quality is not lost. The picture is bright and very colorful. As technology advances this set will last through a few years because of the 120Hz. So it’s a great buy for today, especially before the stock market bounces back!
2 Stars Poor picture quality in low light
For me, this tv looks great when watching sports or similar during the day. When watching a movie at night, however, the picture is horrible. Way too much backlight bleed from the top two corners. I thought it must be a defect and had Sony ship out a new one … same problem. Then they sent someone out to look at it and ended up telling me this is just the way it is. They might be right as looking around the net you see many similar complaints.
Very disapointed – this is not the 5 star set as advertised on this site. Not much point to the blu-ray player I also purchased when the tv picture is so bad when showing a dark picture. Do not buy this tv if you want to watch movies.
4 Stars Great picture–input options limited
The picture and the transaction were (are) flawless. I bought this to solve an input problem with my home theatre, and it didn’t solve that, but otherwise, it’s a terrific TV.
Creating Web Pages For Dummies

Ideal for novices, Creating Web Pages for Dummies starts off with discussion of some key design topics and shows the way to publishing well designed Web sites. The authors have you writing HTML and getting a feel for the basic process by the third chapter. Once you’re hooked, they show you how to build a home page in a single day and offer advice on how to get online with an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The book gradually gets more serious in scope, presenting sites for business use and implementing graphics and multimedia. It shows you how easy it is to publish photos, to implement sound and video clips, and introduces hot technologies like Java, ActiveX and XML.
Finally, the guide introduces you to various authoring tools, browsers, and the special considerations of publishing for WebTV. In the usual Dummies style, the author offers 10 dos and 10 don’ts for Web publishing. The book wraps up with appendices of ISPs, a guide to HTML tags, and a CD-ROM with tools and an excellent set of links for useful Web resources. –Stephen W. Plain
5 Stars A Good Place to Start
This is a great book for the person just getting started in thinking about putting up a web site.
The basic concept here is to use a fairly minimal amount of HTML, which he teaches you, and then one of the hosting services such as GeoCities, Google or AOL to get your site up and running. All in all, he presents an excellent description of what you need to think about, what technologies you need to understand, and the various tools that are available to assist in the construction of the site.
The intent of this book is to enable to get a site up and running, fairly quickly (He says in a day, I think he is a bit optimistic, plan on a weekend, maybe even a three day weekend.) but only after having thought a lot about the various aspects.
Then in chapter 18 he talks just aenough about things like JavaScript, database connectivity, cascading style sheets and more to let you know that you’ve barely scratched the surface.
An excellent place to get started.
5 Stars Great reference book
Thanks for the quick responce in the product, received what I needed for less
3 Stars This is for someone who does not want to purchase any software over 20 bucks. It leans heavily on Yahoo.
I was hoping for something that would help me get started on building my own site. This book is for someone who just wants any site, and is looking for someone else to do for them.
5 Stars A great start if you are making your own website
Even though I am a bit above average in computer knowledge i found this book very helpful with making my web page.
I found it to be a great reference
1 Star At Least The Title Is Right!
This was my first “for Dummies” book purchase and it will be the last (unfortunately, I also purchased “Web Sites for Dummies” at the same time. A How-To book this not….you get no step-by-step instructions, what you do get is a lot of information that is generally available on the internet with a dose of new-age you can do anything you want if you try………well, at least the title is right……….only a DUMMY would buy this book.

5 Stars Nice BOOk
The third book of the serie and the third book that i have the chance to read about diablo.Love , drama, and lots of action scenes this book repeat the sucess of the other two books.Totally awesome!!!
5 Stars Diablo, Angels and Humans battle it out – Interesting
As the 3rd book of the series it gave us exactly what we wanted, a huge build up and an epic finish. I dont want to go into too much detail but if you have read the first two books you HAVE to get this one.
The ending will really get you thinking, i loved it!
5 Stars Knaak really likes necromancers!
A fitting end to the series and an awesome backstory to the game. If you have an very good and active imagination, reading this book can give you shivers! It is higher in gore compared to the first two but you certainly wont be able to put this book down.
This book was far better than the 2nd in my opinion… It really nice to see the main protogonist mature. I actually found him less annoying in this book comapred the first two. It seems like Knaak really has a facination with necromancers! Trust me its true, I’ve read his other books on Diablo and they always have a witty necro in them. Not that I’m complaining as I myself play Diablo2 using a necro.
I hope he writes more on the main character (Zayl and Humbart) from the other books (Moon of the spider & Kingdom of Shadow)

5 Stars Knaak prefers a balance…
I just finished this book last week. After reading the first two, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this story. The part that really interested me was the theological aspects that were greatly intertwined within the story, especially the part of the Nephilim (Edyrem). I must say that I did not predict this ending to the story, I sort of suspected it because of the story-line in the video games, but I had no idea it would be like this.
This conclusion is much more profound and far more action packed than the previous two. There is still a fair degree of intrigue, especially when they’re in Khejan, so Knaak keeps that writing style up pretty consistently.
I was honestly half expecting him to play up more of the religious end and draw more from historical theology, such as he did with Angels. He sort of included the hierarchical structure of Heaven with the Angiris council at the end, but I half expected a true form of a Seraph to show up.
The part I most enjoyed in this series was the development of the Necromancer character. My philosophies identified most with Trag’oul and his teachings, so I really got into that character. The way this tale is written it seems the author also seems to agree the most with that philosophy. I was also surprised to see the author take this stance in a widley read series. He essentially teaches that any extreme of good or evil is a very bad thing and only results in a circular war with no real victor. Considering how much this country, the U.S., takes it’s politically correct diatribes, I’m surprised there weren’t any outspoken people towards this. At least I haven’t encountered any, yet. I suppose the demographic of people reading Diablo don’t really pertain to such extremists. But the extremists tend to get into everything these days and there seems to be an obvious split, which can probably be reconicled with balance.

5 Stars Fire to a Caveman
We absolutely love this TV. When it came in, I was at work. My husband said the delivery service was excellent – stayed around to unpack, set up, and test for power before taking off. He called to tell me it had arrived and he said ‘this must have been how the cavemen felt the first time they discovered fire.’ I burst out in laughter; but, when I got home and watched it – its true – the difference is revolutionary.
5 Stars Great TV! Excellent picture quality
Great TV, no problems so far.
The gloss black finish does get dirty easily and leaves finger prints.
Kinda wishing I would’ve got a 52″ too, but overall I highly recommend it!
5 Stars Samsung LN46B750 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color
I looked around and did so much research that by the time I made my choice the new models came out. I made the leap and have had this TV for a month now and I am very happy with it!
This TV has a pristine clear picture, the best I have seen so far. The sound is average but lets face it when you buy a TV like this chances are you will upgrade to a sweet sound system anyway.
You can tweak this TV every which way too Tuesday, I find it was great right out of the box but being a guy I had to play around with it anyways and if you don’t like it you can reset it right back to where it was out of the box with just a click.
Even being a new model this TV made cnet best 5 HDTVs list and the price I paid for at Amazon could not be beat, and trust me I did try to find a better price.
I got this bad boy five days after I placed my order (a few days early) with the free shipping and the drivers set it up in no time and took the box out for me.
With the money I saved I ended up getting a Blu Ray from Amazon as well and I could not be happier.
If you are thinking about it… just wait for a good price on Amazon and do it!
4 Stars Great deal, quick delivery and arrived in perfect condition
We’ve been waiting for some time to replace our current TV with more up-to-date technology and were thrilled to death to see the offer come through email for the deals on Amazon for big screen TVs – Samsung in particular. We researched the competition and couldn’t find a better deal. Saved a bundle and got free shipping as a Prime customer. We received another $200 off just for showing interest in the items during our research. Reading the reviews written by others that purchased the same or similar unit was a tremendous help in making our decision. We were surprised how quickly it shipped and the carrier was able to bring it a day earlier than expected. They even brought the shipment right into our home. We were somewhat leary about the amount of reflection we would experience as reported by others but it has not been annoying at all. The 46-inch screen is a perfect fit for our room. Looking forward to many pleasant hours of TV enjoyment. We’re holding off on a 5-star rating until we get our HD cable connection. Will update the rating once we’ve had the full experience. We will definitely talk up this experience among family and friends and recommend Amazon again.
5 Stars Beautiful TV
This tv is awesome. The picture quality is amazing. I chose to buy this over the samsung B650 due mainly to aestetics. I disliked the shape and color of the B650 touch of color red. The rectangular framed, touch of color gray was much more appealing to me.
One issue I’ve seen was unwatchable video tearing and skipping when viewing video files though the Ethernet media center program ( I don’t remember the official name of the samsung built in media software.) other than that, connecting my computer to the tv, over DVI-HDMI wrked like a charm, and the clarity is incredible.
